Overview:

As a barista, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional coffee experiences to our customers, ensuring their satisfaction, and fostering a welcoming atmosphere.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, adhering to quality standards and customer preferences.
  • Operate coffee-making equipment such as espresso machines and grinders, maintaining cleanliness and proper functionality.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the coffee bar, brewing stations, and seating areas.
  • Ensure product availability by restocking supplies and monitoring inventory levels.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure efficient operations and a seamless customer experience.
  • Uphold high standards of customer service, addressing customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
  • Stay updated on coffee industry trends, techniques, and new products, continuously improving knowledge and skills.
  • Adhere to health and safety guidelines, including proper food handling and sanitation practices.
Qualifications:

Requirements:

  • Previous work experience as a barista or in a similar role is preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and passion for coffee, including espresso-based beverages and brewing methods.
  • Ability to operate coffee-making equipment, such as espresso machines and grinders, with proficiency.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Strong attention to detail, ensuring accurate order preparation and transaction processing.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and prioritize effectively.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Punctuality and reliability in meeting scheduled work hours.
