As a Lead Coffee Specialist, your extensive knowledge and enthusiasm for coffee, along with your expertise in the café environment, ensure that patrons enjoy an unparalleled experience.

You will provide support to fellow baristas through mentorship and training, demonstrating how to deliver an outstanding customer service experience.

This exceptional service will encourage customers to return time and again.

Key Responsibilities

  • Craft and serve beverages that surpass customer expectations by engaging with them, building rapport, listening attentively, and providing prompt and friendly service through a personalized ordering process.
  • Assist in training baristas on effective product recommendations and handcrafted beverages, ensuring they feel confident in their customer interactions.
  • Maintain a welcoming atmosphere in the café by ensuring a well-stocked pastry display, neatly arranged merchandise, and a friendly demeanor from yourself and your colleagues.
  • Take pride in the café by prioritizing cleanliness and organization, recognizing that a tidy environment enhances the overall customer experience.
  • Engage customers through product sampling and demonstrations.
  • Adhere to operational standards efficiently and accurately, following all café protocols, safety, and health regulations.
  • Safeguard company resources by following procedures to minimize waste and loss.
  • Perform physical tasks associated with café operations, including standing for extended periods, bending, lifting, and operating espresso machines.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Comprehend and implement café offerings and operational practices.
  • Assist in onboarding new team members regarding café operations.
  • Serve as a positive role model, promoting company initiatives.
  • Communicate effectively and respectfully with customers and team members.
  • Listen to customer needs and address them satisfactorily.
