Role Overview

As a Coffee Specialist, you will be essential in delivering outstanding coffee experiences to our patrons, ensuring their satisfaction while creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

• Craft and serve a diverse selection of coffee beverages, adhering to quality standards and customer preferences.
• Operate coffee-making machinery, such as espresso machines and grinders, while maintaining cleanliness and functionality.
• Keep a tidy and organized workspace, including the coffee bar, brewing stations, and seating areas.
• Ensure product availability by restocking supplies and monitoring inventory levels.
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth operations and a seamless customer experience.
• Maintain high standards of customer service, addressing inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally and promptly.
• Stay informed about coffee industry trends, techniques, and new products, continuously enhancing your knowledge and skills.
• Follow health and safety guidelines, including proper food handling and sanitation practices.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Prior experience as a barista or in a similar role is preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge and enthusiasm for coffee, including espresso-based beverages and brewing methods.
• Ability to proficiently operate coffee-making equipment, such as espresso machines and grinders.
• Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Strong attention to detail, ensuring accurate order preparation and transaction processing.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, multitasking and prioritizing effectively.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Punctuality and reliability in meeting scheduled work hours.
