WWCM has an opening for a strategic and personable Business Development Manager (BDM) to support business expansion efforts. The BDM drives sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with customers.WWCM is looking for a BDM who will plan, coordinate, and manage the actions taken by the organization to initiate and execute a government contract. The BDM will serve as the WWCM single point-of-contact with the program office for business development management and related contract-level issues. The BDM must effectively negotiate differences that may exist between WWCM, our partners, our vendors, and the customer in order to bring together a cohesive/efficiently running development and business development maintenance within the organization. The BDM must provide the leadership and have the interpersonal communication skills necessary to inspire, lead, direct, and manage the development of customer relationships. The BDM will interface with senior leaders and directors to help maintain and sustain critical business development efforts. Additionally, the BDM will be a single point of contact for the Contracting Officer and the COR.Responsibilities:Develop a business development strategy focused on financial gainArrange business development meetings with prospective clientsDevelop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfactionConduct research to identify new markets and customer needsArrange business meetings with prospective customersPromote the WWCMs products/services addressing or predicting clients objectivesPrepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelinesMaintain records of sales, revenue, invoices etc.Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales supportBuild long-term relationships with new and existing customersDevelop entry level staffMinimum Requirements:Bachelors Degree in BSc/BA in business administration, sales or relevant fieldDemonstrate integrity, respect, and a commitment to excellence, collaboration, agility, and diversityExperience organizing, directing, and managing contract operation support functions involving multiple, complex, and interrelated project tasksExperience effectively communicating at senior levels within a customer organizationExperience meeting with customer and contractor personnel to formulate and review task plans and deliverable items, and effectively execute in accordance with approved plansExperience with managing multiple projects, including adjusting to shifting priorities and solving problems quicklyAbility to collaborate with technical staff and customers in forming strategies to improve performance, reliability, and cost effectivenessExperience with large scale information sharing between teams across multiple locationsExperience mentoring staff in order to maintain high levels of performance and positive moraleProven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive or a relevant roleDemonstrate a proven sales track recordPossess a proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g. Salesforce)Possess market knowledgeCommunication and negotiation skillsAbility to build rapportPossess time management and planning skillsDesired Qualifications:Master's Degree in Business Admin, Sales, Marketing or related fieldPrior experience at a tech companyAbility to break down a product or feature into the technical teams and systems involved and their dependenciesAbility to be an influential member of a highly integrated team composed of both technical and non-technical membersAbility to communicate to both technical and non-technical audiences#J-18808-Ljbffr
