LaSalle Network is collaborating with a well-established healthcare organization in Billings, Montana, to find driven and compassionate individuals for a Customer Service Representative position that pays $17/hr This role is a great opportunity for those with a background in retail or food service to transition into a corporate setting while making a meaningful contribution to patient care.

Customer Service Representative Responsibilities:

  • Assist patients in understanding their financial obligations in a clear and supportive manner, ensuring they feel comfortable and informed
  • Manage both incoming and outgoing calls related to patient account balances, offering solutions and setting up payment plans as needed
  • Strive to meet or exceed the established performance metrics, maintaining a high standard of service
  • Utilize provided call scripts and follow set procedures to effectively resolve patient account issues, including setting up payments and identifying suitable payment plans
  • Keep detailed and accurate records of all interactions in company and/or client systems
  • Help patients explore options for financial assistance programs or bank loans when applicable
  • Ensure full adherence to all federal and state laws and regulations (including HIPAA, Medicare Fraud, Waste and Abuse), particularly regarding collections procedures
  • Provide necessary information to Client Services to support overall patient satisfaction and service excellence

Customer Service Representative Requirements:
  • Experience in a customer-facing role, with a preference for those from retail or food service backgrounds
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex information clearly
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with multiple responsibilities
  • A proactive, positive attitude and a desire to grow within a corporate healthcare environment
  • Basic computer literacy and familiarity with customer service tools are a plus
