**Job Description**

Our Underwriting Solutions unit in Jersey City is looking for a Product Support Specialist for Personal Lines Analytic Products. This individual will be responsible for various analytical and operational product support related duties, related to the Risk Analyzer product suite, which includes several predictive analytic modules that enable insurance carriers to better classify and segment risk. In this role, you will be collaborating not just with members of the Personal Lines Analytic Products team, but various other teams across the organization to support the products. The ideal candidate is highly inquisitive, organized and detail oriented, able to work independently and customer solution minded.

Responsibilities

* Support product manager in fulfilling responsibilities to maintain products and address customer needs

* Prepare regular updates for assigned products

* Create, update, and maintain documentation around processes and procedures

* Prepare regulatory state filings as required for changes/updates to products

* Coordinate and manage projects by working with product managers, IT developers, and other stakeholders to develop test plans, schedules, and implementation of new analytical products as well as upgrades & enhancements to existing solutions.

* Ability to create test cases and perform regression tests.

* Perform user testing on various platforms.

* Assist with new customer onboarding (setting up credentials, email notifications, etc.)

* Work with cross-functional departments (IT, Operation Support, Customer Service, etc.)

* Other responsibilities and tasks as assigned

**Qualifications**

Requirements

* Must be self-motivated and capable of working independently.

* Strong written and verbal communications skills (able to report on progress verbally and in writing).

* Have experience engaging with customers, assisting with handling customer inquiries, providing implementation guidance.

* Detail oriented and organized.

* Quality focused; As appropriate, initiate action to troubleshoot problems or notify others of quality issues.

* Capable of following established procedures/instructions for completing work tasks.

* Proficient in a programming language such as SQL, Python, and/or other languages. Knowledge of databases would be a desirable asset.

* Experience with property and casualty insurance products is highly desirable (rating and/or regulatory filings).

* Progress towards or completion of insurance-related courses would be an asset CPCU, IDMA, college insurance curriculum, etc.
