Sealed Air Corporation is seeking a Manufacturing Helper to provide essential support to Machine Operators in our production environment. This role emphasizes safety and quality, and offers the opportunity for training and advancement to the Machine Operator position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the safe operation of production machinery to ensure the delivery of high-quality products through continuous adjustments of operational parameters.
- Understand and adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.
- Ensure timely production to meet customer demands and operational targets.
- Engage in product labeling, packing, wrapping, and supply line support for production.
- Conduct required quality inspections, testing, and documentation.
- Maintain company standards for cleanliness and organization in work areas.
- Support routine preventative maintenance tasks.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic skills in mathematics, reading, and computer usage.
- Strong focus on safety awareness.
- Ability to solve problems and apply critical thinking skills.
- Capable of working effectively and efficiently as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Completion of college-level courses or trade school is preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience operating cranes, forklifts, and other related equipment.
Physical Requirements:
- Frequent standing, walking, and bending.
- Ability to push, pull, and lift at least 40 lbs.
- Good eye/hand coordination.
