We are seeking a skilled and experienced Talent Acquisition Assistant to support our recruiting team with sourcing, and our onboarding process for new hires. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in recruiting, with a strong focus on sourcing, onboarding, and new hire orientation, preferably within the healthcare industry.

POSITION SUMMARY

•Collaborate with Talent Acquisition Specialists to coordinate and facilitate the sourcing and onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition from recruitment to employment.

•Prepare and distribute onboarding materials, including employee handbooks, benefit information, and required paperwork.

•Schedule and facilitate orientation sessions for new hires, providing an overview of company policies, procedures, and expectations.

•Serve as the main point of contact for new hires during the onboarding process, addressing any questions or concerns and providing support as needed.

•Coordinate with various departments, including HR, IT, and facilities, to ensure new hires have access to necessary resources and equipment on their first day.

•Assist with new hire orientations and training sessions, both in-person and virtually, to familiarize new employees with company culture, values, and job responsibilities.

•Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of new hire information in the HRIS (Human Resources Information System) and other relevant databases.

•Conduct follow-up checks with new hires to ensure a successful onboarding experience and address any issues or concerns that may arise.

•Collaborate with healthcare recruiters and hiring managers to gather feedback on the onboarding process and identify areas for improvement.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

•Associate degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.

•Minimum of 3 years of experience in recruiting, with a focus on onboarding and orientation, preferably within the healthcare industry.

•Knowledge of onboarding best practices, including orientation planning, new hire paperwork, and training facilitation.

•Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with new hires, hiring managers, and team members.

•Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.

•Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with HRIS (Human Resources Information System) or other relevant software.

•Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
