Key Responsibilities:

General Ledger Oversight:
Ensure the maintenance and reconciliation of general ledger accounts, confirming the accuracy and completeness of financial information.
Month-end Closing: Support the month-end and year-end closing processes, which include journal entry preparation, account reconciliations, and financial statement evaluations.

Financial Reporting:
Generate and disseminate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, encompassing balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

Variance Examination:
Scrutinize financial data and investigate variances to pinpoint trends, discrepancies, and areas for enhancement.

Asset Management:
Document and oversee fixed asset transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, depreciation, and impairment assessments.

Intercompany Reconciliation:
Reconcile intercompany accounts and collaborate with other departments/entities to ensure the accurate elimination of intercompany balances.

Audit Assistance:
Provide support for internal and external audit inquiries, supplying documentation, explanations, and assistance as required.

Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure adherence to GAAP standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements, offering suggestions for process enhancements as needed.

Process Optimization:
Identify inefficiencies in accounting workflows and procedures, proposing and executing solutions to improve accuracy, efficiency, and controls.

Special Projects:
Assist with unique projects and initiatives as directed by management, delivering financial analysis and insights to aid in decision-making.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, specifically in general ledger accounting.
A strong understanding of GAAP standards and financial reporting obligations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle).
Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and trends.
Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and precision.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a deadline-driven environment.
