Position Overview: As a Part-Time Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing our company's receivables process. You will be responsible for accurately processing incoming payments, reconciling accounts, and communicating with clients to ensure timely payment. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Location: This position is located in Memphis, TN, and requires onsite presence.

Responsibilities:

  • Process incoming payments and update customer accounts accordingly
  • Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure accuracy
  • Generate financial reports detailing accounts receivable status
  • Communicate with customers to resolve billing discrepancies and facilitate timely payment
  • Collaborate with internal teams to address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly
  • Assist with month-end closing procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the finance department

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Accounts Receivable Specialist or similar role
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks)
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills

Pay: $20-25/hr

Job Type: Part-time; Onsite
