Vaco is seeking an Accounting Clerk to support our client. In this capacity, you will engage in a range of standard and some specialized clerical and accounting tasks in line with established accounts receivable protocols. Your responsibilities will include generating, distributing, and reviewing invoices, processing payments, and accurately applying cash and other relevant credits.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate and distribute invoices to clients, ensuring timely receipt of payments and accurate application of funds.
  • Track aging invoices and provide summary reports and status updates to relevant management.
  • Prepare reconciliations and maintain detailed spreadsheets.
  • Manage customer billing profiles, ensuring that all client invoices contain precise information.
  • Handle inquiries from both internal and external clients regarding invoicing, payment applications, and account balances with professionalism.
  • Conduct outbound communications for accounts receivable collections.

Qualifications

  • Previous office experience in a similar role or a related field, or a combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in investigating complex invoicing and accounts receivable challenges.
  • Proficient in Excel with intermediate skills required.
