Position Overview:
The Financial Operations Accountant will collaborate with a dedicated team of financial professionals, focusing on various accounting functions. This role emphasizes the management of accounts receivable records, conducting bank reconciliations, processing daily cash transactions, and handling other accounting tasks related to our extensive portfolio of consumer auto loans. The successful candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills, exceptional time management abilities, and effective communication capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and/or review journal entries related to accounts receivable.
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts, promptly investigating and resolving any discrepancies.
- Assist in audit processes by supplying necessary documentation to auditors as required.
- Conduct monthly bank reconciliations.
- Perform additional duties as assigned or as business needs arise.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline is required.
- 2-5 years of relevant accounting experience is preferred.
- CPA certification or eligibility is preferred.
