D.R. Horton, Inc. is currently looking for an Accountant - Cash Management for their Accounting Department.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities Prepare complex bank reconciliations Process and post high volume cash receipts/incoming wires Reconcile escrow receivable balances and prepare aging and other reports General ledger reconciliations and analysis, as well as preparing journal entries Assist corporate accounting management with related special projects as needed Scanning documents Prepare journal entries as needed Conduct monthly close procedures and ensure deadlines are met Other ad hoc analyses, reports and projects as needed

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Accounting or Business from four-year college or university; Three to five years related experience preferred; previous experience preparing bank reconciliations and receivable reconciliations required.

Additional Knowledge, Skills And/or Abilities Knowledge of standard accounting policies, procedures and regulations. Strong PC skills, including Excel and MS office, are required. Ability to utilize an automated accounting system; experience with JDEdwards is a plus. Work well under pressure in a rapidly changing, deadline driven environment. Able to handle multiple concurrent assignments with attention to details. Ability to analyze and solve problems. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
