Job Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Open, remove, and secure currency from gaming machines and tables.
  2. Operate both large and small currency counting devices.
  3. Accurately count and record currency drops and tickets from slot machines.
  4. Document currency from each bill acceptor and table game box using electronic counting systems.
  5. Compile daily receipts from gaming operations.
  6. Prepare cash and chips for secure transfer to the vault.
  7. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the drop count area and assist in the upkeep of gaming equipment.
  8. Generate and input various reports into the computerized accounting system.
  9. Notify supervisors of any discrepancies or variances encountered.
  10. Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  11. Ensure compliance with Tribal, State, Federal, and NIGC regulations.
  12. Maintain confidentiality of all sensitive information.
  13. Work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary.
  14. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Exceptional guest service skills are essential. Candidates should have one to three months of experience handling significant amounts of cash or a suitable combination of education and experience. Proficiency with 10-key calculators is required.

Licenses and Certifications:

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Class A/3 gaming license from the appropriate regulatory agency.

Physical Requirements:

This position requires the ability to receive detailed information through verbal and written communication. The role involves prolonged periods of standing or sitting, repetitive hand movements, and occasional bending or crouching. Employees must be capable of lifting and carrying objects weighing up to 35 pounds and maneuvering heavy carts. This is a 24/7 operational environment.
