D.R. Horton, Inc. is currently seeking a Treasury Analyst. The ideal candidate will collaborate with the Treasury team to support the management of corporate liquidity, ensuring the security of cash and cash equivalents. Responsibilities include assisting Treasury management with all banking relationships and loan facilities necessary for the company's operations.

Key Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
  • Oversee the processes for managing bank accounts and user access across various banking platforms
  • Open new bank accounts and determine the appropriate setup for each
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and approval processes
  • Maintain online banking access and provide training on banking software
  • Order banking supplies and manage authorized signatures as needed
  • Keep an updated list of active bank accounts and close accounts when necessary
  • Set up users and provide training on remote check deposit systems
  • Investigate issues and requests related to bank accounts
  • Prepare miscellaneous bank correspondence
  • Review, approve, and post relevant journal entries in the accounting system, including daily sweeps and adjustments for returned items
  • Prepare and monitor inquiries related to check and ACH fraud
  • Reconcile ACH payments from DHI to Paymode and resolve discrepancies
  • Conduct monthly letter of credit reconciliations and prepare necessary journal entries
  • Serve as backup in critical areas of the Treasury Department, including positive pay processing, letter of credit management, wire transfers, electronic deposits, and remote deposit processing
  • Complete special projects related to cash management as required
  • Perform other Treasury duties as assigned
  • Conduct all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve both internal and external customers, enhancing the goodwill and profitability of the company
  • Willingness to travel overnight as needed
Qualifications

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year institution
  • Two to five years of relevant experience and/or training
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to execute instructions provided in written or oral form
  • Proficiency in MS Office and email applications
  • Capability to sit for the majority of an 8-hour workday; use hands and fingers for handling tasks; reach with hands and arms; communicate effectively
  • Specific vision abilities required for this position include close vision and peripheral vision
  • The noise level in the work environment is generally moderate
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with financial analysis software is preferred
  • Skills in project management
