LaSalle Network has partnered with our client, a medical provider, in their search for a Cash Poster. The Cash Poster will be responsible for accurately posting and reconciling payments in the healthcare revenue cycle, specifically within the skilled nursing sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of healthcare billing and payment processes, as well as experience working with skilled nursing facilities. This position requires exceptional attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Cash Poster Responsibilities:

  • Accurately post and reconcile payments from various sources, including insurance companies, patients and other third parties
  • Ensure all payments are posted to the correct patient accounts and invoices
  • Identify and resolve any discrepancies in payment postings
  • Collaborate with billing and collections teams to address payment issues and denials
  • Maintain accurate records of all transactions and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Perform regular audits to ensure accuracy and integrity of payment postings
  • Assist with month-end close processes and prepare reports as needed
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in healthcare billing and payment regulations, particularly in the skilled nursing sector


Cash Poster Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in accounting, finance or related field preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in cash posting within the healthcare revenue cycle, specifically with skilled nursing facilities
  • Strong understanding of healthcare billing and payment processes
  • Proficiency in using healthcare billing software and electronic health records (EHR) systems
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and compliance
