We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Business Analyst to join our IT TSO VMO team. Under the guidance of senior analysts and supervisors, you will conduct basic operational analyses to support informed decision-making within the business unit. Your key responsibilities will include handling small to medium special projects, conducting quantitative and qualitative research, designing and modifying processes, and developing reports. This role also involves processing purchase orders and shopping carts, learning best practices for purchasing, and advising IT TSO employees.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct basic operational analyses to support decision-making within the business unit.

Handle small to medium special projects, involving quantitative and qualitative research.

Design and modify processes to improve efficiency.

Develop and maintain various reports.

Process purchase orders and shopping carts.

Learn and apply best practices for purchasing and advise IT TSO employees accordingly.

Assist with the processing of procurements related to TSO change initiatives and strategic procurements.

Manage documents and reports visible to the VP and CIO.

Become the process owner for all procurements centralized through IT TSO.

Qualifications:

1 year of related experience preferred.

Bachelor’s degree is a plus.

Familiarity with standardized tools and techniques for operational analysis.

Strong analytical and research skills.

Excellent process design and modification capabilities.

Proficiency in report development.

Knowledge of best practices for purchasing and procurement processes.

Ability to work under the guidance and mentorship of senior analysts and supervisors.
