Role Purpose: The Automotive Lubrication Specialist will be responsible for maintaining and servicing vehicles to ensure optimal performance. This position offers a pathway for career advancement for those who are passionate about providing outstanding service in the automotive industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Applying lubricants to vehicle engine components to prevent wear and enhance performance.
- Lubricating wheel bearings to minimize tire wear.
- Conducting engine cleanings to avert rust development.
- Replacing essential filters including cabin, fuel, air, and oil filters as necessary.
- Performing tire rotations to promote even tire wear.
- Testing and adjusting tire pressure as required.
- Conducting thorough inspections for oil leaks.
- Providing recommendations for additional services based on vehicle assessments.
- Communicating with the Service Advisor regarding any maintenance issues that may extend beyond scheduled timeframes.
- Preparing comprehensive service reports for vehicles.
- Replacing wiper blades and batteries as needed.
- Changing motor oil, transmission fluid, and brake fluid as required.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Completion of a postsecondary education program in automotive lubrication.
- Demonstrated experience in automotive maintenance or repair.
- Valid driver's license in good standing.
- Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Attention to detail and thoroughness.
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication skills.
- Exceptional customer service aptitude.
Compensation:
- Competitive hourly rate starting at $22.00, based on experience, with flat rate pay after the introductory period.
