The Logistics and Imports Specialist is essential in enhancing supply chain efficiency and productivity. This role encompasses the management of inventory tracking, order processing, and supply forecasting, along with the coordination of import shipments to guarantee prompt and precise delivery.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the transit of imported ocean containers
  • Authenticate shipping documents and purchase order details from international suppliers
  • Work closely with transportation partners to optimize processes and ensure timely arrivals
  • Proactively identify and resolve shipment challenges
  • Prepare import documentation for customs clearance
  • Facilitate the delivery of shipments from port to storage facilities
  • Conduct audits to verify the accuracy of customs entry summaries
  • Negotiate freight costs to achieve savings
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as needed

Required Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in supply chain operations
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
