The Logistics and Imports Specialist is essential in refining supply chain processes to boost operational efficiency and productivity. This role encompasses managing inventory oversight, order processing, and supply predictions, along with coordinating import logistics to guarantee timely and precise deliveries.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the transportation of imported ocean containers
  • Authenticate shipping documentation and purchase order details from international suppliers
  • Work closely with logistics partners to enhance workflows and ensure punctual deliveries
  • Proactively identify and resolve shipping challenges
  • Prepare import paperwork for customs clearance
  • Facilitate the delivery of shipments from port to storage facilities
  • Conduct audits to verify the accuracy of customs entry summaries
  • Negotiate shipping costs for budget efficiency
  • Perform additional tasks as required

Required Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
