Base pay is influenced by several factors including a candidates qualifications, relevant experience, and anticipated contributions to meet the needs of the business, along with internal pay equity and external market driven rates. The salary range displayed has not been adjusted for geographical location. This position has responsibility for supporting the large market account executive team by servicing large market customers. The Account Service Executive will develop customer relationships and have a comprehensive understanding of the accounts culture, expectations and overall healthcare goals.
The Account Service Executive will facilitate implementation of strategic goals, supporting program changes, new product implementation and an enhanced service model. The incumbent in this position will work cross functionally, with the account executive to communicate customer needs and expectations. The incumbent will contribute to the growth and retention results of large markets key accounts, by providing additional support for our most complex customers.
The expectation of the Account Service executive is to be market facing.
Responsibilities and Qualifications:- Assist the Account Executive with team action plans to drive to a single-coordinated approach to account management
- Effectively engage cross functional support within Capital BlueCross to implement key account initiatives and benefits
- Actively participates in sales training/development, as well as internal project teams to cultivate innovation and promote customer needs
- Actively participates in community events, industry gatherings and other opportunities to develop client relationships

- Demonstrated strong oral, written, and presentation skills to effectively present information and respond to questions from peers and customers
- Must possess good interpersonal skills
- Strong detail orientation and analytical skills
- Proven ability to build business relationships at all levels throughout the organization

- Comprehensive knowledge of all products and services offered by Capital BlueCross and its subsidiaries
Knowledge:
- Comprehensive knowledge of company policies and procedures
- Comprehensive knowledge of all products and services offered by Capital BlueCross and its subsidiaries
- Working knowledge of provider reimbursement and network strategies across the industry and at Capital BlueCross
- Comprehensive knowledge of multiple funding arrangements and reinsurance products
- Participates in and successfully completes all training requirements
- Working knowledge of the healthcare industry, local and national market, the competition, their products as well as key differentiators
- Demonstrates and understanding of our customers overall business and how the changing market may impact their business
Experience:
- 2+ years of health care industry experience, project management or sales experience
Education and Certifications:
- Bachelors degree in marketing, Business Administration or related field
- Pennsylvania Life, Accident and Health license required within 90 days of hire. Continued education is required to maintain license
- Industry related professional designation or certification a plus
Location:
This position is classified hybrid, which requires onsite work on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
Work Environment:
- Includes typical office conditions.

- While performing the duties of the job, the employee is frequently required to sit, use hands and fingers, talk, hear, and see.
- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 5 pounds.
Other:
- Travel - Approximately 15% of time
