MC Contracting is seeking a seasoned Project Coordinator to add to our Team. We are looking for a professional and responsible Coordinator to provide support to Project Managers & Field team, responsible for managing all administrative aspects of a construction project.

**Position Purpose and Essential Duties**:
Our project coordinators are responsible for assisting project managers/estimators and superintendents in coordinating the project activities from start to finish. Duties include but are not limited to:

- Keep track of all project deadlines and deliverable work product timelines.
- Maintain and submit contractor pre-qualification and/or all project-required documentation.
- Maintain and organize department and project files-electronic and hard copy.
- Research and manage lead times for needed materials, travel accommodations, and equipment for assigned projects. Track orders and troubleshoot problems with deliveries.
- Solicit and collect subcontractor proposals on time for upcoming projects.
- Monitor and audit material invoices.
- Provide support to field staff as needed.
- Assist with the collection, organization, and calculation of change orders.
- Assist with issuing subcontracts and subcontractor change orders.
- General quantity takeoffs from plans/onsite measurements to complete bid documents/estimate sheets.
- Schedule, attend, and take meeting minutes for select project meetings.
- Manage and submit project close-out documentation/warranty packets.

**Needed Skills**
- Analytical thinking, attention to detail, decision-making, initiative, and problem solving.
- Physically capable and able to perform a full day outdoors.
- Ability to learn quickly and have the desire to understand all aspects of a project from start to finish.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work well with others, work well as a team, and pitch in where needed.
- Good organizational skills and initiative
- Able to effectively coordinate several projects simultaneously.
- Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment without getting too flustered.
- Ability to individually prioritize and handle a large workload, when necessary, at a steady pace.

**Qualifications Needed**

Construction experience required.

Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

Project coordinator experience preferred.

Plan Swift & Autodesk knowledge a plus.
