Job Title: Purchasing Procurement Coordinator

Purpose:
Health and Beauty Manufacturing (HBM) is searching for a Purchasing Procurement

Coordinator in St Petersburg, FL and operates in two, 30,000 sq ft, manufacturing facilities.

HBM is a local, FDA-Registered, business in the nutritional and personal care manufacturing

industry.

As a Purchasing Procurement Coordinator, you will play a critical role in our quickly growing

manufacturing company in the health and beauty space. This position is responsible for

managing the purchasing process, ensuring timely procurement of materials, maintaining

accurate inventory levels, and coordinating shipments. You will collaborate closely with vendors,

the sourcing team, and R&D to meet the company’s material needs and support our production

goals.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Purchasing:

- Create and manage purchase orders in the accounting software.
- Ensure purchase orders are accurate and complete before submission to vendors.
- Monitor and follow up on outstanding purchase orders to ensure timely delivery.

Procurement:

- Communicate with vendors to confirm order details, delivery timelines, and material

specifications.
- Negotiate pricing and terms with vendors to optimize costs and ensure quality.
- Address and resolve any issues related to material delivery, quality, or discrepancies.

Collaboration:

- Work closely with the sourcing team and R&D to understand and fulfill material

specifications and changes on an order-by-order basis.
- Provide timely updates and reports on procurement activities and material status to

relevant departments.

Inventory Control:

- Monitor inventory levels to ensure they align with production needs and order quantities.
- Perform regular inventory audits to maintain accuracy.
- Coordinate with production to forecast material requirements based on production

schedules.

Shipment Scheduling:

- Schedule and coordinate incoming shipments of materials to ensure they arrive on time.
- Manage any outgoing shipments, ensuring they are prepared and dispatched according

to schedules.
- Handle all necessary documentation for shipments, both incoming and outgoing.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related

field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or inventory

management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of purchasing and inventory management processes.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Familiarity with the manufacturing industry is a plus.

Pay: $50,000.00 per year

Physical setting:

- Office onsite.
- Job Available to Start Immediately

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- 8:00 am - 4:00 pm
- 2 weeks/year holiday
