We are looking for a Procurement Specialist to oversee the reordering of goods and ensure efficient inventory management. This role involves supporting the purchasing team by evaluating sales patterns, managing purchase orders, and liaising with suppliers to maintain ideal stock levels.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Inventory Oversight: Assess sales information to predict requirements and execute purchase orders. Modify order volumes and delivery schedules as necessary.
- Supplier Engagement: Collaborate with purchasing agents to address supplier concerns and relay any modifications in orders directly to suppliers.
- Interdepartmental Collaboration: Foster strong connections with logistics, finance, and other internal departments to guarantee precise and prompt deliveries.
- Administrative Support: Manage related administrative tasks and assist with special initiatives as needed.
Qualifications:
- Education/Certification: A high school diploma is required; a Bachelor's degree is preferred or equivalent experience.
- Required Knowledge: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), familiarity with word processing, spreadsheet applications, and online tools. Knowledge of reordering processes, merchandise flow, and consumer behavior.
- Experience Required: A minimum of four years of experience in inventory replenishment.
- Skills/Abilities:
- Competent in word processing.
- Strong analytical, creative, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and project management capabilities.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently or collaboratively.
- Ability to analyze industry data and perform basic arithmetic consistently.
