Statement of Job:
The University of Southern Maine is seeking applicants for a Project Coordinator in our College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences (CAHS).

This Project Coordinator will provide much needed support to the CAHS Dean’s Office, and the College’s growing performance and visual arts disciplines (Department of Art, Theatre, and the Osher School of Music), including the Crewe Center for the Arts (CFA) opening Fall 2025. The Project Coordinator will work closely with the Dean’s Office staff but would primarily report to the Associate Dean on various projects and initiatives, while coordinating with key stakeholders such as the new Creative Director of Performing Arts, the Director of Art Exhibitions and Outreach, the Program Director of the Kate Cheney Chappell Center for Book Arts, as well as department chairs. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to assisting in event planning, programming, workshops, summer classes and camps, marketing, web content, and procurement processes. This position will also be responsible for developing and maintaining a unified arts calendar and will work with the USM Foundation to support marketing and fundraising initiatives in conjunction with the Dean and Associate Dean.

This is a full-time position with a starting annual salary of $47,000. This position will be based primarily on the Portland Campus.
