- Ensure timely project delivery by adhering to established frameworks, maintaining accurate project documentation, and tracking technical milestones.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues, providing actionable solutions for technical challenges.
- Lead deployment projects for clients, coordinating both internal technical teams and external resources.
- Communicate project plans, technical priorities, and change management strategies to stakeholders and technical staff.
- Develop and document processes for technical migrations, including server migrations, cloud services, and system implementations.
- Manage client relationships, setting clear expectations during IT implementation and migration projects.
- Ensure successful project completion by delivering on time, within budget, and meeting client technical needs.
- Collaborate with Technical Account Managers, Sales Engineers, and Project Engineers to align technical project goals and deadlines.
- Monitor technical progress and project status, documenting key updates, technical specifications, and status reports.
- Review and analyze Statements of Work (SOWs) for technical projects and change requests, ensuring accuracy and feasibility.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of technical project management methodologies and best practices.
- Coordinate technical training and mentorship among project teams and technical staff.
- Utilize corporate project management tools to manage project lifecycle, task assignments, and resource tracking.
- Associate degree required (Bachelor's degree preferred) with a minimum of 4 years of professional experience in IT or a related field.
- Strong understanding of networking terminology and concepts.
- Proven experience providing user support for Windows operating systems and mainstream Microsoft applications.
- Hands-on experience managing Office 365 or other cloud-based platforms, such as Google Suite.
- Proficiency in Windows Server and Active Directory administration.
- Experience creating and implementing Group Policies.
- Experience working in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment.
- Proficiency in Azure Cloud Fundamentals.
- Knowledge of Windows Server and basic SQL concepts.
- CompTIA Network+ certification or equivalent networking knowledge.
- Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
- Familiarity with ConnectWise RMM and IT Glue for managing IT operations and documentation.
- Experience using migration tools such as SkyKick or Exchange Migration Tool.
