**OPPORTUNITY SNAPSHOT**:
**The role provides strong partnership in talent acquisition activities, leading change, supporting organizational development, performance guidance, payroll and benefits, policy interpretation, day to day leadership coaching, culture development, talent development and guidance, and employee relations activities. You work to identify, assess and provide recommendations on appropriate HR interventions to include conflict resolution, progressive discipline, and health and safety management and workers compensation.**

**A DAY IN THE LIFE**:

- Day-to-day Human resources support to front line and senior level leaders and employees.
- Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee benefits. Coordinate open enrollment processes and provide guidance to employees on benefit options. Serve as a point of contact for benefit-related inquiries and issue resolution.
- Collaborate with business leaders to understand organizational objectives and develop HR strategies to support business goals. Provide guidance and support on various HR matters, including performance management, employee relations, and talent development and ensures leaders/management adheres to company policies and procedures as well as compliance with federal, state and local employment laws and regulations.
- Conduct meetings with managers and employees to address HR-related concerns and promote employee engagement.
- Oversee leave requests and approvals, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal regulations. Maintain accurate leave records and communicate leave balances to employees. Provide guidance to employees and managers on leave entitlements, procedures, and partners with Sr. HR Manager for escalations, ADA accommodations.
- Champions and participates in Employee Engagement activities and initiatives.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring compliance. Partner with Sr. HR Manager or outside council as needed/required.
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization. Coordinate orientation sessions and provide necessary training on company policies, procedures, benefits and culture.
- Process payroll transactions, including salary adjustments, deductions, bonuses, and taxes ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness. Collaborate with finance to reconcile payroll records and resolve discrepancies.
- Leads small and large projects that may cross functions, divisions, and facilities.
- Manage the offboarding process for departing employees, ensuring compliance with exit procedures. Conduct exit interviews to gather feedback and insights for continuous improvement. Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure termination of all systems and access privileges upon employee termination.

**WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED**:

- A minimum of 4+ years' experience in an HR Partner/Generalist/ related business role.
- Undergrad degree required, Master’s degree a plus.
- PHR / SHRM - CP preferred.
- Strong HR Acumen: - Deep knowledge of HR processes and working knowledge of most HR disciplines, including payroll administration, benefits management, and HR business partnering roles.
- Strong understanding of payroll systems, HRIS platforms, and benefit administration. ADP preferred.
- Ability to build relationships and trust with strong skills in coaching and mentoring.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills needed, with the ability to see hidden problems and look beyond the obvious for answers, uses data to make decisions.
- Excellent conflict management and negotiation skills - can bring others together and reconcile differences.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and practices.
- Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment - including Excel, PowerPoint, Word and demonstrated skills in database management and record keeping.

- Good interpersonal, verbal and presentation skills with the ability and passion to engage with others authentically, establish trust, build long-lasting relationships - influe
