The title of the job for WDL is Sr. HR Assistant.

 

The pay is $20-$27/hour.  1st shift flexible hours

 

  • Provides a welcoming, responsive reception to all customers, in person and on the phone. Maintains a professional, customer friendly appearance to the office. Maintains a confidential environment.
  • Provides administrative support to the Human Resources department and Executive Leadership, including phone screening, clarifying issues,  recruitment support functions, meeting and appointment scheduling, clerical support, etc. This requires the ability to use judgement and ask probing questions in a non-threatening, relationship building manner.
  • Responds to all customer requests, assisting external customers, applicants, new hires, current staff and leadership. Answers questions regarding a variety of HR issues. Maintains knowledge of human resource policies and processes, benefits, credential requirements, etc. in order to provide accurate, "one stop" answers whenever possible. Appropriately identifies and refers out issues as needed to other HR staff.
  • Maintains department filing, records, documents, including performance evaluations, corrective actions, name changes, and terminations.
  • Participates in and/or organizes HR initiatives and special/seasonal events, such as New Employee Orientation, New Leader Orientation, retirement celebrations, etc.
  • Performs all steps necessary to onboard new staff. This includes assisting new staff with preemployment paperwork, preparing files, preparing orientation materials, obtaining IDs from security, locker assignments, I-9s, etc. Acts as resource in making new hire welcome and prepared.
  • Distributes and organizes incoming mail, flagging priorities and routing urgent issues to appropriate, available staff. Orders and maintains stock.
  • Performs all activities with a high level of accuracy. Maintains legal and policy compliance, confidentiality, and timeliness requirements. Assists with special projects and requests as needed. Provides flexibility in scheduling for department coverage needs.
