The VISTA's role will focus on developing service project opportunities, community relations connections, civic engagement experiences, and an entire class Service Day experience. The focus of this additional support with this specific lens can ensure that element of the curriculum gets all the attention deserved.
**Member Duties**: The TMA AmeriCorps VISTA member will support the implementation of the civic engagement program. They will assist with planning and executing student centered civic engagement and community service projects; maintain related data; guide students in the development of service projects and connect with non-profit organizations to establish partnerships, identify partner needs, and match student interests.
