Job Location: This role requires candidates to maintain an active presence at their respective educational institutions.


About Us

Student Freedom Initiative, Inc. (SFI) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to addressing educational disparities and promoting financial equity. Our mission focuses on empowering students at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and other Minority Serving Institutions (MSIs) to overcome financial barriers through innovative solutions. We aim to alleviate student debt, enhance job readiness, and strengthen the resilience of MSIs through our comprehensive programs.


Role Responsibilities

As a Campus Ambassador, you will serve as a crucial liaison between SFI and your institution. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Facilitating awareness and understanding of SFI's financial solutions among students.
  • Collaborating with student organizations to promote engagement and outreach initiatives.
  • Implementing marketing strategies to enhance SFI's visibility on campus.

Support and Development

To ensure your success, we will provide:

  • Regular virtual information sessions to keep you informed about our programs and objectives.
  • Bi-weekly check-ins with your supervisor to discuss progress and address any challenges.
  • Clear metrics for success, including student engagement targets.

Key Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Current enrollment as a student at an SFI-affiliated institution.
  • Demonstrated leadership and involvement in campus activities.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in digital tools and platforms.

Compensation

This position offers a stipend for the academic year, with flexible hours to accommodate your studies.
