**THE POSITION**:
**DESCRIPTION OF WORK**:

- This position provides a vast array of administrative support to the Employee Safety and Training Division Manager. Functions as Highway Admin: Employee Safety’s training coordinator, budget coordinator, departmental training coordinator liaison, safety portal administrator, and IdeaLink coordinator liaison. COOP Coordinator Liaison, as a safety professional, develops and implements employee safety programs and provides guidance and support for state-wide employee safety programs in a manner consistent with legal requirements, policies, and procedural requirements. Supports departmental goals and objectives for improved quality of life by encouraging healthier lifestyles and reducing injuries and accidents. This position requires much autonomy and serves in a critical capacity in providing prompt and outstanding customer service.

- **Work Schedule and Additional Information**:

- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
- This position is located in the Keystone Building, Harrisburg. It will require occasional travel to the training facility located at the Riverfront Office Center (ROC) to attend meetings, and training events.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time after successful completion of probationary period. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.

**REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY**:
**QUALIFICATIONS**
**Minimum Experience and Training Requirements**:

- Such training as may have been gained through graduation from a four year college or university or any equivalent combination of experience and training.
- Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within 3 months of graduating with a qualifying degree.

**Additional Requirements**:

- You must possess at least three years of experience working with OneNote, Excel, Word, Teams, and Microsoft.
- You must possess at least two years of experience performing research and proofreading documents.
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.

**Preferred Qualification (not required)**:

- At least one year of experience using SAP SuccessFactors or a similar training database.
