**THE POSITION**:

The Pennsylvania Treasury Department is seeking a highly organized and detailed professional to join the Bureau of Unclaimed Property in the Mail/Scan Unit as an Administrative Assistant 1. **Work Schedule and Additional Information**:

- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch.
- ** Salary**:_ _**In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

**REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY**:
**QUALIFICATIONS**

**Minimum Experience and Training Requirements**:

- At least two years of progressively responsible experience pertinent to the position and a bachelor's degree; **or**:

- An equivalent combination of experience and training

**Additional Requirements**:

- You must be able to lift 50 pounds.
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.

**Preferred Qualifications (not required)**:

- Experience in the operation of scanners, mail opening machine, bar code producing machines, copier, and fax machine.
- Ability to work independently to complete assignments and handle a high volume of work in an efficient manner.
- Able to effectively communicate orally and in writing.
