As an Inventory Control Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our supply chain and warehouse management processes. The Inventory Manager is responsible for warehouse management, inventory control, work order management, incoming receipts, domestic and international shipments, monitoring and maintaining inventory levels and ordering of materials. This position also supports other departments in all material needs, including staging materials for manufacturing. This position requires strong analytical skills, experience with systems and data analysis, reliable attendance, and a keen eye for detail.

**Inventory Control Specialist Responsibilities**:

- Receive and inspect incoming shipments, verifying accuracy of contents against purchase orders and perform and necessary quality inspections.
- Create bin locations for parts (as needed)
- Ensure all material is properly packaged and maintained in accordance with defined manufacturer specifications, industry regulation(s) and company standards, (ESD handling, vacuum seal, moisture control, etc.).
- Maintain inventory stock room in a clean, organized, and safe manner in accordance with defined standards and policies being sure to properly dispose any unnecessary debris, clutter and product recycling.
- Gather planned material requirements per production schedule and issue materials in a timely manner that fulfill scheduled work order demand.
- Reconcile and close out work orders.
- Handle Non-Conforming Materials in accordance with established procedures and practices.
- Coordinate with vendors on RMA or warranty issues.
- Prepare and package material shipments with established procedures, policies, and industry regulations.
- Generate shipping labels, bills of lading, packing slips, and labeling with appropriate shipping information and complete appropriate paperwork.
- Contact carriers to schedule pick-ups in an effective and timely manner.
- Monitor inventory levels and enter Purchase Orders to reorder materials, as necessary.
- Execute physical inventory and/or cycle counting.
- Conduct root cause analysis to identify and address any recurring receiving errors or inefficiencies.
- Provide ongoing process review and suggestions for improvement.
- Follow SOPs and Work Instructions pertaining to inventory management.

**Inventory Control Specialist Desired Qualifications**:

- Experience working with an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, NetSuite preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of supply chain processes, including shipping and receiving procedures
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify root causes of issues.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds required.
- Experience in receiving and warehouse operations, inventory control, and/or materials management preferred.
- 3- 5 years inventory control experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with quality system requirements (ISO, OSHA).

Pay: $58,000.00 - $68,000.00 per year
