Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Inventory Management Specialist to oversee and enhance our inventory processes. This role is crucial for maintaining the integrity and efficiency of our inventory systems.

Key Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing all incoming inventory and non-inventory receipts to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Processing receipt documentation in accordance with Purchase Order details, ensuring a thorough 3-way match with packing slips and product data.
  • Entering receipt information into the ERP system accurately and efficiently.
  • Collaborating with the Buyer/Planner to address any discrepancies in quantities or damages.
  • Organizing and labeling inventory items to ensure proper storage and easy access.
  • Preparing parts for production jobs and managing inventory transactions within the ERP system.
  • Conducting daily cycle counts and addressing any inventory discrepancies promptly.
  • Managing daily shipping requirements, including returns and other logistics needs.
  • Maintaining optimal inventory levels and ensuring the availability of necessary supplies for receiving and shipping.
  • Coordinating with external vendors to support manufacturing schedules.
  • Processing and managing incoming DMRs, including communication with Quality Assurance and inventory labeling.
  • Supporting customer service by managing job openings, pulling parts, and assembling kits as required.
  • Optimizing storage space by relocating and consolidating inventory items as necessary.
  • Implementing recommendations for inventory control, focusing on slow-moving and obsolete stock.
  • Participating in initiatives aimed at improving inventory and warehouse operations.
  • Adhering to all safety training and organizational policies.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.
