NAHB is looking for a HR Manager to join the growing HR department. The HR Manager is responsible for effectively managing HR-related activities including recruitment, benefits administration, policy implementation and employee communications. This role ensures that managers receive the necessary support and expertise for staffing and plays a pivotal role in employee engagement and culture development through organized events and communications. Additionally, the position involves providing manager-level benefits administration support and collaborating closely with employees, brokers and carriers to resolve issues and maintain morale.

**Key Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Manage all phases of the employment lifecycle for employees.
- Provide guidance to hiring managers and oversee the recruitment process.
- Represent NAHB at job fairs and networking events.
- Serve as the point of contact for the acquisition of temporary staff.
- Develop and coordinate HR-sponsored staff activities and events.
- Provide confidential advice and counseling in compliance with employment laws.
- Conduct New Employee Orientation and manage the onboarding process.
- Manage benefits administration and annual open enrollment process.
- Work to resolved escalated benefits inquiries.
- Provide backup support for HR-related payroll changes and communication with the payroll team.
- Oversee internal and external HR-related communication in partnership with the CHRO.
- Ensure accurate and timely HR communications.
- Track hiring, staffing and other HR related data, and prepare related reports and analysis.

**Qualifications**:

- At least five years of proven experience in Human Resources. Supervisory experience preferred.
- Experience in recruitment and managing the recruitment lifecycle.
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations, and experience in administering them in a human resources environment.
- Customer service oriented.
- Familiarity with HR systems and payroll software.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
