**Administrative Coordinator - Breast Program**

As an Administrative Coordinator in the Breast Program, you will provide comprehensive administrative support to ensure the seamless operation of the program. Your role will involve planning, directing, coordinating, and controlling various administrative, clerical, and secretarial activities within the Department of Surgery’s Breast Program. You will coordinate all aspects of the division, including Department-wide projects and initiatives, ensuring exceptional quality care and innovative patient care practices.

**Key Responsibilities**

**National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC)**
- Assist in maintaining compliance with NAPBC standards and accreditation requirements.
- Coordinate the preparation and submission of necessary documentation for accreditation.
- Facilitate internal audits and quality checks to ensure ongoing compliance.

**Scheduling and Coordinating**
- Manage and optimize the schedules for two breast surgeons, ensuring efficient use of their time.
- Coordinate patient appointments, surgeries, and follow-up visits, providing clear communication to all parties involved.
- Oversee the scheduling of multidisciplinary team meetings and tumor boards.

**Quality Improvement (QI) Planning**
- Develop and implement QI initiatives aimed at enhancing patient care and outcomes.
- Monitor and analyze data to identify areas for improvement and track progress on QI projects.
- Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure QI plans are effectively executed and sustained.

**Program Planning and Management**
- Assist in the strategic planning and development of the Breast Program.
- Coordinate and manage program-related projects, ensuring timely and successful completion.
- Organize and oversee the Breast Program’s administrative tasks, including budgeting and resource allocation.

**Managing Value and Communication**
- Communicate effectively with marketing teams to promote the Breast Program and its services.
- Develop and distribute promotional materials, including brochures, newsletters, and online content.
- Foster relationships with community organizations to enhance program visibility and engagement.

**Event Coordination**
- Plan and execute the annual Continuing Medical Education (CME) event for the Breast Program.
- Organize activities for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, including educational seminars and community outreach events.
- Coordinate community outreach programming to raise awareness and provide education on breast cancer prevention and treatment.

**Quality Improvement ERAS and B Strong Programs**
- Support the implementation and management of Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) protocols within the Breast Program.
- Coordinate the B Strong program initiatives aimed at supporting breast cancer patients and survivors.
- Monitor program outcomes and provide feedback to ensure continuous improvement.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field.
- Experience in a healthcare administrative role, preferably within a surgical or breast program setting.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and scheduling software.
