**Responsibilities**:
**Project Management** - with collaboration with Leadership team:
- Lead and manage business development projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with company objectives and customer needs.
- Coordinate project activities, resources, and stakeholders to achieve project milestones and deliverables.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement strategies to mitigate challenges and ensure successful outcomes.
- Provide regular updates and reports to senior leadership on project status and performance metrics.
**School District Experience**
- Utilize previous experience as an educator or administrator within school districts to understand their unique challenges, priorities, and requirements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with school district leaders, educators, and other stakeholders to identify opportunities for collaboration and partnership.
- Leverage insights from the education field to inform business development strategies, product development, and customer engagement initiatives.
**Special Education Expertise**
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of special education programs, interventions, and best practices to support students with diverse learning needs.
- Collaborate with educators and experts in special education to develop tailored solutions that address the unique requirements of students with disabilities.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends, research, and legislation related to special education to inform decision-making and program development.
**Academic Intervention Experience**
- Possess experience in high-dosage tutoring, drop-out prevention, and educational program supports aimed at improving student outcomes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement effective academic intervention strategies that address student needs and support academic success.
- Stay informed about best practices and evidence-based interventions in academic intervention to inform program development and implementation.
**Strategic Business Development**
- Lead the development and execution of business development strategies to drive revenue growth and expand market presence.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and strategic alliances to support company objectives and meet customer needs.
- Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of prospects, manage the sales process from lead generation to closure, and negotiate contracts and agreements.
**Sales Team Collaboration**
- Collaborate closely with sales representatives, account managers, and other stakeholders to align business development initiatives with sales strategies and objectives.
- Provide training, guidance, and support to sales teams on educational products, market trends, and customer needs to drive sales success.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the sales team to achieve collective goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Business, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Preferably 2 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in the education sector.
- Prior experience as an educator, clinician or administrator in school districts is highly desirable.
- Experience and understanding of district funding, RFP requirement and contracting
- Strong understanding of special education principles and practices.
- Experience in academic intervention, including high-dosage tutoring, drop-out prevention, and educational program supports.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- Results-oriented mindset focusing on achieving revenue targets and driving business growth.
