**Primary Responsibilities**:
- Generation, management and oversight of Business Pursuits.
- Development and execution of strategies to expand the company’s presence and business opportunities in the aerospace market.
- Collaborate closely with the company’s top management.
- Interactions with customers and stakeholders to identify and create opportunities and strengthen business relationships with our portfolio of customers and develop relationships with new clients as they emerge.
- Participation in industry trade shows and regular travel is required.
- Develop, execute, and manage strategies.
- Create and manage proposals and customer negotiations.
- Conduct competitive analysis.
- Identify potential industry teammates.
- Participate in technical meetings for internal and external representatives to develop strategies and manage pursuits.
- Collaborate with engineering, technology, and senior management.
**Technical Skills and Experience**:
- Understanding of the US & International aerospace industry
- Networking including leadership level in the aerospace industry
- Ability to adapt to NSS’ business culture with focus on important values such as honesty, transparency, responsiveness, & customer support
- Be extrovert, diplomatic, good listener, good presenter/promoter
- Possessing the technical ability to learn NSS’ products and technology.
**Education and/or Experience**:
- 10+ years of experience in business development
- 10+ years of experience within aerospace and/or defense industry
- BS in Engineering is preferred.
