Business Development Manager


N-Drip is on a mission to save water resources while supporting agriculture around the world. Our disruptive gravity-powered micro-irrigation solutions and our decision support system, N-Drip ConnectTM, enable sustainable farming and an efficient water-energy-food cycle.

As we continue to expand, we are looking to recruit a Business Development Manager to join our USA-based N-Drip / ConnectTM team and help us lead the change in agriculture.

This representative will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, cultivating partnerships, and overseeing the implementation of initiatives to meet revenue targets and organizational objectives.

Main Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research and analyze emerging trends, competitive threats, and new business opportunities. Utilize insights to inform strategic decision-making and market positioning.
  • Identify and pursue strategic partnerships, alliances, and joint ventures to enhance the company's market presence and expand its reach. Execute the partnership agreement and be the established point of contact at N-Drip for ongoing communication.
  • Drive sales efforts by lead generation activities to achieve revenue targets and maximize business opportunities.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely execution, resource optimization, and adherence to quality standards. Provide leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams to drive project success.
  • Establish and maintain reporting mechanisms to track business development activities, analyze performance metrics, and provide insights to senior management. Develop dashboards and presentations to communicate progress, challenges, and opportunities effectively.
  • Collaborate with our internal and external stakeholders on funding opportunities, grant research and grant writing, and contract execution.

Skills and Qualifications

  • B.S. in Business, Marketing, Legal or related field; MBA or equivalent preferred.
  • 2+ years of business development experience.
  • 2+ years of project management experience.
  • Proficient in market research and data analysis.
  • Proficient in analyzing, consolidating, and reporting data to N-Drip Leadership.
  • Previous experience in the agricultural sector is preferred.
