About us

Responsible for achieving positive sales activity for assigned territorial region. Sell and market pharmaceutical packaging products (ex: vials, ampoules, cartridges, syringes) to pharmaceutical drug manufacturers and pharmaceutical drug contract fillers. Manage and support select customer accounts. Build and develop strong working relationships that seek to strengthen current partnerships, while also fostering and creating new customer accounts. Serve as the main point of contact to help satisfy customer expectations while overall, seeking to achieve department sales strategies and deliverables both locally and globally.

Your Contribution
Responsible for managing client account base of approximately $5M to $15M in revenue
Satisfy assigned annual sales target for assigned client group
Work closely with Sales Director US/Canada, Key Account Managers, International Account Managers and Customer Service contacts to proactively manage and grow pharmaceutical packaging business
Act as the subject matter expert and possess a sound understanding of pharmaceutical packaging portfolio products
Manage numerous pharmaceutical packaging projects aimed at identifying and satisfying client needs, while defining project scope and driving the sales cycle
Analyze and provide continuous updates to Sales, Marketing, Customer Service and Production regarding product feedback, market trends, competitor information and new product opportunities
Maintain accurate and detailed customer information via CRM and call reports
Present routine updates on territories
Participate in the budget process
Coordinate client visits
Prepare price quotations
Your Profile
High School Diploma or GED, required
BA/BS in Business or Life Sciences, strongly preferred
A minimum of 2 years of experience within active sales role, preferably in the life sciences or pharmaceutical packaging/biotech industry
25% - 50% combination of regional and global travel
Remote work with customer and plant visits as required and/or needed
Sound computer knowledge and skills including MS Office and SAP
Experience with trade shows, business meetings and trainings
Sound technical aptitude
Self-motivated and results driven; strong perseverance to hit targets and deadlines
Multi-tasking abilities and prioritization
Detail oriented approach; service oriented
Personable
Forward and creative thinking
Effective communication skills (email, phone, etc.)
Ability to read, write and speak English language
