You will think about how we can connect Syneos unique set of integrated offerings across our Commercial Business to solve challenges for our clients. The ability to network and maximize the value of your network to grow business will be valuable.

We are searching for a motivated contributor with a hunter mindset responsible for generating new business by opening doors for our subject matter experts and qualifying leads. In this role, you will provide vision and direction for identifying and qualifying leads on behalf of our Syneos Health Commercial Solutions. You will have a list of assigned accounts as well as the latitude to prospect other companies where you have identified business opportunities.

This position can be remotely based near a major airport or located at one of our office locations in the Northeast (NYC, Central NJ, or Boston). Travel required 50% of the time to meet with clients and visit Syneos Health offices across the US.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Performance in this role will impact Syneos Health's financial performance in three key elements:

  1. Pipeline opportunity generation.
  2. Growth through converting identified opportunities into business
  3. Expanding client base, contacts and demonstrating Teamwork.

Specific Responsibilities for this role include:

  • Collaborate with business leads and cross-functional commercial partners to achieve and maintain knowledge of current and future offerings, solutions, intellectual property etc. in order to compete and achieve success in this competitive out sourced market.
  • Maintain strong, productive relationships with Commercial Leadership to understand current business footprint and client map including revenues, nature of engagements, scope of offering, existing relationships, potential opportunities, etc.
  • Contribute to a working environment which encourages and supports a positive mindset about the work as well as the client and staff involved. Encourage and demonstrate unity behind team and Commercial Business decision-making.
  • Collaborate and create an environment which encourages Teamwork, information sharing and openness to new ideas. Ask open-ended questions to get to the root of issues. Manage change and conflict by offering guidance and support.
  • Demonstrate a desire and aptitude to present in small and large, internal, and external groups. Schedule and manage well planned meetings with efficiency and ensure objectives are met.

You lead the efforts to develop solutions and articulate key points-of-view - internally and externally - relative to strategic alternatives, client industries and issues.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or a science related field.
  • 12+ years' related BD and leadership experience, plus extensive knowledge within the Commercial Business of Biopharmaceuticals industry.
  • Must have proven Sales experience.
  • Experience with developing and executing successful sales & prospecting strategies.
  • Must have a strategic mindset along with being a thought leader and a strategic partner with clients.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $219,000 to $266,000. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high of the Syneos Health range for this position. Actual salary will vary based on various factors such as the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. In addition, some positions may include eligibility to earn commissions/bonus based on company and / or individual performance.
