Travel Business Development Manager (Mid-Atlantic region, USA)
Based in USA mid-Atlantic region
Salary: up to $70,000 p.a. depending on experience plus $20,000 Bonus
Location: HOME BASED Remote in the USA in the mid-Atlantic regions
Candidate must be based in one of the states/regions: New York, , New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Massachusetts
Experience in the travel Industry is required

The Company:
A well-established British Travel Management company that offers services to international clients.

Main duties:
To be responsible for creating and developing new business opportunities across all channels.

The Role:
- To ensure the delivery of a comprehensive pipeline solution to meet budgeted revenue and margin targets.
- To achieve successful prospecting growth, develop long-term partnerships, and create engagement plans.
- To identify and provide customer solutions that create long-term partnership opportunities
- To gain insights into market trends and stay updated on competitor products and pricing
- To collaborate with Operations team to ensure service is in line with contractual obligations
- To analyse sales, performance by category and communicate updates on progress
- To work closely with other departments including Finance, IT and HR
- To monitor internal and external key performance indicators
- To report directly to the Managing Director for North America
- To attend the meetings, training sessions and conference calls when needed
- To prepare presentations, proposals and sales contracts

The Candidate:
- Previous experience in Business Development
- Experience in the travel industry
- Experiences in B2B business-to-business sales is beneficial
- Able to demonstrate negotiation techniques and successes
- Fully competent and confident Word, Excel and PowerPoint user
- Highly organised and proven ability to prioritise and meet deadlines

Salary: up to $70,000 p.a. depending on experiences plus $20,000 Bonus
