Job Description:
Operate CNC Machines:
Set up and operate CNC machines to produce precision parts.

Interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate machining.

Monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments to ensure quality and efficiency.


Sheet Metal Fabrication:
Operate sheet metal fabrication equipment, including shears, presses, and brakes.

Perform tasks such as cutting, bending, and forming sheet metal components.

Ensure all fabricated parts meet quality standards and specifications.


Maintenance and Troubleshooting:
Perform routine maintenance on CNC and sheet metal fabrication equipment.

Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions to minimize downtime.

Coordinate with maintenance team for complex repairs and servicing.


Quality Control:
Inspect machined and fabricated parts to ensure they meet design specifications and tolerances.

Utilize measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges for quality checks.

Document and report any discrepancies or non-conformances.


Safety and Compliance:
Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.

Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

Participate in safety training and contribute to a culture of safety in the workplace.


Collaboration and Support:
Assist in developing and improving machining processes and techniques.

Work closely with engineering and production teams to meet project deadlines.

Provide support to other machine shop personnel as needed.


Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience operating CNC machines and/or sheet metal fabrication equipment.

Experience in a manufacturing or machine shop environment is highly desirable.


Skills:
Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.

Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

Ability to use precision measuring instruments accurately.

Familiarity with CNC programming and G-code is a plus.
