CNC Machinist

Job Summary:
The CNC Programmer will be responsible for programming and operating CNC machines to produce high-quality parts. This role requires a strong understanding of CNC machining and programming operations, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program CNC parts using NX or MasterCam CAD/CAM/CAE software
- Verify and maintain revision control on programs and setup sheets
- Optimize machining programs and procedures to increase productivity
- Collaborate with machinists, leads, engineering teams, and machining operations management to achieve production goals
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance manufacturing efficiency
- Machine setup and operation, including fixture tooling and machine maintenance
- Meet productivity and production goals, and provide regular updates to management
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalency certificate
- 8+ years of CNC programming experience, including NX
- Experience with graphite electrode programming
- Ability to lift 25 lbs. unassisted
- Ability to work 1st shift, overtime, and weekends as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
- 12+ years of CNC programming experience, including NX
- Experience with programming and operating multi-axis mill and lathe CNC machines
- Experience working with tool & die applications with complex surfacing and contours
