Front Desk Agent Job Description:

We are looking for friendly and efficient Front Desk Agents to join our team for on-demand roles at various hotels, resorts, and lodging facilities. Ideal candidates are those who excel in customer service and can provide a welcoming and professional experience for guests.

Key Responsibilities (Varies by Business):
  • Greet and welcome guests upon arrival.
  • Register guests, assign rooms, and distribute room keys.
  • Process payments for accommodation and services.
  • Answer inquiries about hotel services, check-in/check-out times, and local attractions.
  • Handle guest complaints and concerns in a professional manner.
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of room availability, rates, and promotions.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance staff to ensure room quality and guest satisfaction.
  • Perform clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, and handling mail.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Front Desk Agent, Receptionist, or similar role.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in handling reservations software and phone systems.
  • Strong customer service orientation and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Flexibility to work in shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • High school diploma; additional certification in hospitality is a plus.
