Business Development Manager

NAPA is seeking a dedicated Business Development Manager to drive sales growth across Filters and Heavy-Duty product lines. This role will involve expanding existing customer relationships and developing new business opportunities at all distribution levels. Key responsibilities will include executing assigned Categories strategic initiatives, sales promotions, and training. Performance metrics will be based on combined sales, filter fleet surveys completed, filter sales events, and NAPA Auto Parts combined sales and EBITA.
Responsibilities:
- Present, communicate, and sell storeowners and their installer customers on NAPA category strategic initiatives, promotions, value proposition, and training materials.
- Manage fleet surveys as needed based on customer demands.
- Close partnership with TSM/TMOD on ISO Store Readiness and Inventory levels.
- Provide field insights to drive sales and strategic Category initiatives.
- Achieve territory sales quota and provide training to store employees on NAPA Filters and HD programs.
- Develop long-term relationships with store owners as an advisor and business partner.
- Leverage category expertise to prepare stores for effective inventory levels.
- Organize and lead category-specific sales blitzes in assigned territory.
- Meet monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial targets.
- Provide exceptional customer service and communication to all accounts.
- Demonstrate thorough knowledge of assigned product lines.
- Deliver sales presentations to varied audiences.
- Execute weekly, monthly, quarterly, and HQ sales plans to achieve business growth.
- Conduct periodic account reviews to update management on key progress indicators.
- Attend and manage promotional events and trade shows.
- Share marketing intelligence with colleagues on product opportunities for sales growth.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of selling and account management experience.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent sales/marketing experience.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Able to travel extensively within assigned territory.
- Must be willing to work extended hours and weekends as needed.
- Proficient with corporate productivity tools and CRM applications.
- Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
