Job Description
Reporting to the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) , the person in this position will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of Human Resources. This role requires a hands-on approach, where the incumbent will actively engage in day-to-day HR operations to ensure smooth functioning and address challenges promptly.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in HR operations with a strong focus on employee experience, Environment Health and Safety (EHS) and a strong knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.
An overview of your responsibilities:
Collaborate with the global HR function in the development and implementation of HR strategies and programs on various topics such as: talent attraction and management, compensation, payroll and benefits, performance management, labor relations, Health and Safety, integration, employee training and development, laws, policies and procedures.
Act as a Human Resources Business Partner to support and advise Arizona Plant Managers in achieving business objectives.
Oversee all Human Resources projects, systems and tactics.
Collaborate with various partners/service providers to ensure proper implementation of Human Resources best practices.
Ensure the monitoring, compliance and application of Human Resources policies with regard to laws and legal standards.
Ensure good management of employee relations.
Participate in various employer brand development events.
In collaboration with the global team, build and report on key indicators.
Collaborate in the creation of the Arizona Human Resources budget and ensure its on target execution.
Support administration for all employee benefit programs.
Actively participate in the recruitment, integration and training of new employees.
Build the Human Resources team aligned to the company's evolution.
Support the Site Leader in People Management, Training and Development, EHS and Employee Relations.
What you'll need, among other things
Minimum 7-10 years relevant experience including 5 years as a Human Resources Operations Manager in a manufacturing environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or other related training and experience.
Previous experience in building a Human Resources department or start-up business.
Experience working in a large company in a matrix environment, an asset.
Excellent knowledge of Arizona employment laws and regulations.
Strong Business acumen combined with a focus on people and culture and customer centricity.
Autonomy, entrepreneurship and the ability to work with ambiguity.
Knowledge of data analysis and payroll systems, an asset.
Excellent communication skills, Fluent in English, proficient in Spanish.
Ability to collaboratively work hard and have fun at the same time.
