Key Responsibilities
  • Community Outreach: Develop and implement community outreach programs to engage with local communities and promote Walmart's values and mission.
  • Asset Protection and Safety: Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, analyze and interpret reports, and implement and monitor asset protection and safety controls.
  • Associate Development: Provide supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates, including hiring, training, mentoring, and performance management.
  • Customer Service: Model and demonstrate exceptional customer service standards, manage and support customer service initiatives, and ensure customer needs are successfully resolved.
  • Financial Performance: Assist the store manager in driving financial performance, reviewing and evaluating P&L statements, and developing and implementing plans to correct any deficiencies in financial performance.
Requirements
  • Education: 2 years' of college; OR 1 year's retail experience and 1 year's supervisory experience; OR 2 years' general work experience and 1 year's supervisory experience.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University, General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports to include the responsibility of performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
