Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to fill the role of Financial Operations Specialist. Reporting directly to the Manager of Treasury Operations, this position is responsible for the timely and accurate processing of daily bank files associated with payroll operations, as well as resolving any discrepancies that may arise. As part of a rapidly expanding organization, the successful candidate will need to adeptly navigate increasing complexities while driving efficiencies and delivering value-added contributions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the team to process daily positive pay and direct deposit files.
  • Investigate and manage exceptions, stop payments, direct deposit traces, check voids, and reissues.
  • Handle requests received through a distribution inbox to meet departmental service level agreements.
  • Initiate and/or authorize bank transactions, including wire transfers.
  • Monitor and respond to communications in the Treasury Mailbox.
  • Assist in the integration of new Division Partners.
  • Ensure that proper controls are upheld.
  • Engage in continuous improvement initiatives for operational processes.

Qualifications

  • Strong ethical standards with the ability to manage confidential information appropriately.
  • Experience in Treasury operations or banking functions.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Exceptional time management abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Capable of working both collaboratively and independently.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field, or equivalent professional experience is required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a Treasury Operations role or banking operations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and a demonstrated ability to learn new software as needed.
  • Familiarity with NACHA files is advantageous.
