Overview: As a Social Media Assistant at PNW Web Design, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our online presence and engaging with our audience across various social media platforms. You will work closely with our marketing team to implement social media strategies, create compelling content, and monitor social media channels. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in digital marketing and contribute to the growth of a dynamic web design company.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in developing and implementing social media strategies to increase brand awareness and drive engagement.
  • Create and schedule social media posts for platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and others as needed.
  • Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and inquiries across social media channels in a timely manner.
  • Generate ideas for social media content that aligns with company goals and values.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute social media campaigns, promotions, and contests.
  • Track and analyze social media performance using analytics tools and provide reports on key metrics.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in social media marketing and implement new strategies as needed.
  • Assist in managing the company's social media calendar and ensure content is published on time.
  • Help maintain a consistent brand voice and style across all social media channels.
  • Support other digital marketing initiatives as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience (internships included) as a Social Media Assistant or similar role.
  • Excellent knowledge of social media platforms and their respective best practices.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to generate engaging content.
  • Basic understanding of social media analytics and reporting.
  • Familiarity with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social) is a plus.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Passion for digital marketing and staying current with industry trends.
Education not required:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field (preferred).
